Ronnie Williams and the Carter Family Sound

Ronnie Williams and Lorrie Carter, who is the daughter of the legendary Anita Carter and granddaughter of Mother Maybelle Carter will be part of the concert.
Lorrie began singing with her Grandmother Mother Maybelle, Helen, June, and Anita in the early 70’s and working on the Johnny Cash Show. Lorrie also performed with the Carter Family, the Third Generation, Mother Maybelle, Helen, Anita, and her cousin David Carter Jones, Helen’s son.
Lorrie has her mother’s wonderful voice. She sings much like her mother doing great justice to the same songs that her family is widely known for. Anita Carter, Lorrie’s mother had one of the greatest voices in Country Music and Lorrie is following in her footsteps. This group sings in the style of The Carter Family, the First Family of Country Music. The group is led by Ronnie Williams, who was a close friend and fan of the Carter family. Ronnie plays the autoharp and guitar as close to Mother Maybelle’s style as possible.

James Reams & the Barnstormers
James Reams and the Barnstormers are based out of New York City . Originally from southeastern Kentucky , James Reams has been in NYC since the early 1980s, playing traditional bluegrass music with an old-time edge. Wires and Wood
Rick Barker, an original member of Appalachian Trail , Eric McMurray of The Scott County Boys and Moccasin Gap along with Tim Laughlin who has shared the stage with Larry Sparks, Doyle Lawson, Wayne Taylor and Ron Block. This collaboration formed the nucleus of Wires and Wood. Marked by an eclectic song mix and excellent instrumentation Wires and Wood delivers their best at every performance. The addition of Randy Jackson in 2005 added a new dynamic in song selection and innovation.
