McPeak Brothers

The McPeak Brothers have been a widely respected band in the bluegrass and gospel worlds since they first started performing over 40 years ago. Usually considered a Wytheville, VA band, the group's influence has spread far and wide due to their long history of songwriting, appearances on television and radio, and memorable recordings. If you've ever tapped your toes to "Somebody Socked It to Mine" or "Bobbi," then you know what it means to be a fan of these superb musicians.

VW Boys

SOTM veterans the VW Boys performing live at the Lincoln Theatre

The VW Boys blend music, magic and comedy to present a complete variety show. Their performance credits range from Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, TN to openings for comedic greats such as Jerry Clower and Don Knotts. Members are Tim White (banjo, vocals), Dave Vaught (guitar, vocals), and Larry McPeak (bass, vocals). Their latest CD, Pickin’ Chicken, includes chicken stories by Tom T. Hall and Jimmy Martin, and is available on Fat Dog Records. www.vwboys.com
